1897 Souvenir Silver Cuba Peso – Close Date commemorative medal authenticated and graded Mint State 61 (MS61) by Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC). Issued in support of the Cuban independence movement, this historic silver souvenir piece features the allegorical female figure of Liberty with the inscription Patria y Libertad and the close-date 1897 variety on the obverse. The reverse displays the Cuban coat of arms encircled by patriotic inscriptions. Encapsulated in the original NGC holder with certification number 4931897-008.
