A 1915 Cuban 40 centavos silver coin displaying the national emblem on one side — the Cuban shield framed by a laurel wreath and inscribed “Republica de Cuba – Cuarenta Centavos.” The reverse features the radiant five-pointed star and the patriotic motto “Patria y Libertad” (Homeland and Liberty). This early Republican-era issue is one of Cuba’s most recognized silver designs. Some light toning and oxidation are visible near the star.
