A finely decorated commemorative plate produced to celebrate the 1981 marriage of H.R.H. The Prince of Wales (Charles) to Lady Diana Spencer. Crafted in England by Aynsley, this elegant piece features a deep cobalt blue border richly adorned with intricate gilt floral and heraldic motifs.
The center displays the Royal Coat of Arms along with additional emblems and a detailed printed family lineage beneath a crown motif. The rim inscription reads: “To commemorate the marriage of H.R.H. The 21st Prince of Wales to Lady Diana Spencer,” with the wedding date noted as July 29, 1981 at St. Paul’s Cathedral.
The underside bears the Aynsley mark, “Est. 1775 Aynsley, Made in England, Fine English Bone China,” confirming authenticity and quality craftsmanship.
