This lot features two matted prints of The Saturday Evening Post covers illustrated by Norman Rockwell. The collection includes "Willie's Rope Trick" (June 26, 1943) and "Willie Gillis in a Blackout" (June 27, 1942). These prints are part of Rockwell’s famous "Willie Gillis" series, which followed the fictional life of an ordinary soldier during World War II, becoming some of the most beloved imagery of the era. These items originate from the Norman Rockwell Museum of the South.
