This modernist sculpture is a replica of the Cabeza de Pakal (the head of Mayan King Pakal the Great), whose tomb was discovered in 1952 at Palenque, Mexico. Similar pieces are often produced by D'Argenta, a distinguished Mexican art studio specializing in luxury silver-clad and gold-plated sculptures

Striking modernist figural head sculpture rendered in a highly polished metallic finish, mounted on a sleek black pedestal base. The stylized face features elongated proportions and geometric abstraction, with textured hair elements and a serene, contemplative expression. The reflective surface enhances the sculptural form, creating dynamic light interplay from multiple angles.

The design draws inspiration from Cubist and African-influenced modern art, making it a bold decorative statement suitable for contemporary interiors, offices, or gallery settings. The substantial black base provides stability and contrast to the lustrous metallic head.
