Limited edition lithograph after John Atkinson Grimshaw’s celebrated painting “Liverpool Quay by Moonlight” (c. 1887), published by The Tate Gallery. The composition depicts a bustling Liverpool waterfront at dusk, with horse-drawn carriages, illuminated shopfronts, and sailing ships lining the rain-soaked quay. Grimshaw is renowned for his atmospheric Victorian cityscapes and masterful treatment of moonlight and reflections, making this one of his most recognizable subjects. Housed in a handsome contemporary wood frame under glass. Verso bears the publisher’s label identifying the work as a limited lithograph published by The Tate Gallery.
