An exceptional and highly decorative Antique Round Oak Parlor Stove Tower, featuring the iconic "Doe-Wah-Jack" Native American chieftain finial. This three-tier cast iron piece showcases the intricate craftsmanship of the late Victorian era, traditionally produced by the Beckwith Estate Stove Company.
The piece is finished in a weathered antique cream and moss green patina, highlighting the deep-relief scrollwork and geometric piercings. The top tier is crowned by a majestic figure of a Native American chieftain standing within an oak leaf wreath, with the name "Doe-Wah-Jack" clearly embossed on the circular pedestal base. The middle section features a series of cloverleaf and circular vent perforations, while the lower section includes an ornate filigree door with a central spiral motif and side-mounted towel bars or handles.
Supported by four elegant cabriole-style scrolled legs, this stove tower serves as a premier example of early 20th-century functional art. While showing a beautiful aged "shabby chic" distressed finish with some minor paint flaking consistent with age, the casting remains crisp and the structure is imposing.
Overall: Very Good antique condition.
Surface: Features a later-added distressed paint finish in cream and green. Some areas of expected paint loss and oxidation are visible, particularly on the base of the chieftain finial.
Structure: No visible cracks or breaks to the cast iron. All handles and decorative elements appear intact.
