Cuban Banco Nacional de Cuba 1 Peso specimen banknote, professionally certified and encapsulated by Paper Money Guaranty (PMG). The note is identified on the PMG holder as Pick 102s2 and dated 1948–49. It has been awarded a grade of Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ, with the EPQ designation indicating Exceptional Paper Quality.
The face features the Banco Nacional de Cuba title, UN PESO denomination, central portrait, specimen serial numbering, and a prominent red ESPECIMEN overprint. The reverse is headed "REPUBLICA DE CUBA" and displays an elaborate allegorical vignette with an additional ESPECIMEN overprint.
