Cast iron brush washer or small scholar's vessel featuring a broad circular form with a recessed center and a raised ring foot. The rim is decorated in relief with stylized Chinese seal script characters arranged in segmented panels, while the underside bears an impressed square seal mark. Inspired by traditional Chinese scholar's desk objects, this piece is suitable as a brush washer, censer stand, or decorative accent.
