This contemporary mixed media artwork combines a documentary-style black-and-white photograph with schematic anatomical imagery referencing classical proportion studies. The upper portion features a stylized group scene rendered with expressive contrast and painterly highlights, while the lower section presents anatomical diagrams reminiscent of Leonardo da Vinci’s Vitruvian studies, juxtaposing human emotion and scientific measurement.
The composition is housed in a clear acrylic frame and is signed “B. Burgos” on the reverse, with a visible DAX framing label. The layered presentation and conceptual pairing suggest themes of humanity, structure, and identity, making this an intriguing piece for collectors of contemporary, conceptual, or mixed media art.
Approximate sight size measures 10 inches by 8 inches.
