Three-piece English transferware group in the Etruria pattern by Challinor & Mayer. The set includes a large pitcher, a handled mug, and a shallow bowl, each decorated with delicate blue floral and foliate motifs on a cream ground. The design features finely detailed blossoms, trailing vines, and leaves, characteristic of late 19th to early 20th century English transferware.
The pitcher has a bulbous body with a flared rim and an applied handle with beaded detailing. The mug echoes the same pattern with a sturdy cylindrical form, while the bowl features a low, wide profile with a continuous floral border. The underside of the bowl bears the printed mark “Etruria Pattern / Trade Mark / Challinor & Mayer / England,” confirming the maker.
