Description
A highly ornate contemporary presentation egg crafted in the signature Imperial Russian Fabergé style. The exterior of the egg features a rich, hand-applied translucent vitreous enamel over an extensively detailed gilded brass framework. The outer shell is further embellished with scrolling foliate motifs and accent bands inset with multi-faceted clear crystal simulated diamonds.
The hinged egg opens vertically to reveal a fully finished, polished gilded brass interior compartment designed to house small trinkets, jewelry, or a miniature surprise. The piece stands securely on an integrated, ornate three-legged cabriole stand adorned with complementary foliate and shell scrollwork casting.
