"Flying Over Rough Seas" by Cuban-born artist Gisel Salvo depicts a solitary seabird soaring above turbulent ocean waves beneath a blue sky filled with textured white clouds. Layers of blue, turquoise, and white create the movement of churning water, while the bird provides a calm focal point above the restless sea. The work combines expressive texture with a coastal subject, conveying a sense of movement, freedom, and resilience. Signed "Gisel Salvo" at the lower right.
