This four-panel mixed media artwork on paper by artist Fatten Baum features four oval medallions containing heavy impasto brushwork and relief-sculpted gold leaf renderings of the Kanji/Hanzi characters for the four seasons: Spring (春), Summer (夏), Autumn (秋), and Winter (冬). Signed "Fatten Baum" in ink along the lower right matting. Housed in an ornate champagne gold molded wood frame with multi-tiered silver-filleted matting behind glass.
