This lot features four framed vintage prints by Norman Rockwell, including advertisements and story illustrations. The collection includes two 1929 advertisements for Capitol Boilers and Radiators from The Saturday Evening Post, titled "The Judge vs. Widow Anderson" and "The melody stilled by cold". Also included are two sports-themed illustrations: "First Down," depicting a dynamic football tumble originally published in 1951, and "Missed!," a golf-themed piece featuring a group of young boys on a green from the same year.
These pieces originate from the former Norman Rockwell Museum of the South collection.
