This display features an original "Carte du Combattant" (Combatant's Card) issued by the French government to Alphonse Noël Diquié, recognizing his military service from 1935 to 1940. The card includes an identification photo, handwritten and stamped details, and official signatures. Below the card is the accompanying Croix du Combattant, a French military decoration awarded to veterans who served in combat. The medal is gold-toned with a laurel-wreathed helmet design and hangs from a ribbon with vertical red and white stripes. The items are preserved in a protective glass display case.
