This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer set was produced in Bavaria, Germany during the US Zone period and bears the Porzellanfabrik Sammeltau mark along with the Germany US Zone designation. The set features a turquoise ground accented with extensive gilt decoration, including scrolling motifs and floral accents, contrasted by a white interior and footed base. The matching saucer displays complementary turquoise coloring with gold ornamentation, creating a refined and elegant presentation. The Germany US Zone mark dates the set to the post–World War II period, circa late 1940s to early 1950s, making it a desirable example of transitional German export porcelain.
