Decorative framed European share certificate issued by Grands Magasins de la Bourse, a Brussels-based department store company. The certificate, printed in French, features an engraved vignette of the company’s building and ornate green borders, typical of mid-20th century financial documents.
Dated post–October 6, 1944 (“Titre créé après le 6 octobre 1944”), the piece represents a “Part Sociale” (share) with a stated capital of 75,000,000 francs. The certificate is numbered and includes printed signatures. Below the main document are six original attached coupon segments, also numbered and matching the certificate.
The document is presented in a green mat within a metallic-tone frame, creating an attractive display piece that blends financial history with decorative appeal. Ideal for collectors of scripophily (stock and bond certificates) or European commercial memorabilia.
