From New York, Florida, California, to New Mexico, and back again, Hagop Chakrian was a professional artist who focuses on creating abstract art.  He had various galleries, shows, and exhibitions throughout his lifetime. Chakrians work was mostly based with oil mediums on clay based paper, as well as lithograph prints.

Hagop Chakrians art doesn’t necessarily fit the normality of a formal aesthetic.  Broad dark lines, in combination with an intense array of colors.  Hagop Chakrian’s art is designed to make the eye wander and explore the entire composition, his art being anything but straight forward. Regardless of his minimalistic efforts, his figures portray a deep sense of emotions, geared to connect with the viewer on a much more personal level.
