Description
This vibrant Haitian painting presents an expansive, lush mountainside village landscape rendered in a celebrated Cap-Haïtien style. The composition features a cluster of thatched-roof huts nestled among stylized, multi-toned green foliage and prominent tropical trees under a soft, hazy sky. Several figures, predominantly women wearing traditional white and blue dresses, are depicted going about daily life along the village paths, with some carrying vessels balanced on their heads. The foreground is heavily populated by stylized, oversized floral blossoms in shades of white, blue, and green, adding layers of depth and rich color contrast to the scene.
