Original Haitian oil on canvas depicting a lively village scene rendered in a striking monochromatic blue palette. The composition features villagers gathered among thatched-roof homes beneath towering palm trees and lush tropical foliage, characteristic of mid- to late-20th-century Haitian folk art. The painting bears a signature that appears to read "Sada" at the lower center, though the signature has not been authenticated. Expressive elongated figures and rich tonal contrasts create depth and movement throughout the composition. Presented unframed on stretched canvas.
