This exquisite drypoint etching with stencil (pochoir) color, titled "Hanasakaji San" (The Old Man Who Made Trees Blossom), is part of Salvador Dalí’s rare 1976 "Japanese Fairy Tales" suite. Based on the traditional Japanese folk story, the composition depicts a central figure surrounded by blossoming floral elements, rendered with Dalí’s signature delicate linework and vibrant, dream-like color application. The work exemplifies Dalí's later-period exploration of Eastern mythology and his mastery of the etching medium.

The piece is a limited edition, hand-numbered in pencil as LXV/LXXV in the lower-left margin, indicating it is from the exclusive Roman numeral edition of only 75. It is professionally presented in an ornate gold-finished frame with a white acid-free mat and a gold-tone title plaque.
