This powerful 2020 three-dimensional mixed media wall sculpture by contemporary street artist Mr. Brainwash (Thierry Guetta) is a unique 1 of 1 original titled Hoop Legend. Created as a tribute to NBA icon Kobe Bryant, the artwork features the basketball superstar mid-air in his iconic yellow Los Angeles Lakers No. 8 jersey, slamming down a dunk. The background is a dense, vibrant collage of signature street art and Pop Art motifs, including spray paint typography reading "Never Give Up" and "Follow Your Dreams," along with imagery of Mickey Mouse, Keith Haring figures, Banksy-inspired stencils, Captain America, and Campbell's soup cans. A functional, paint-splattered regulation-style basketball hoop with net extends forward from the canvas, creating a striking 3D presentation.
