Description

This vibrant and iconic limited-edition Pop Art graphic work is by the world-renowned cosmic artist Peter Max. Titled "Image of an Era," the composition features a minimalist stylized figure dressed in red, shielding themselves with a bright red parasol or umbrella as they look out over a calm, deeply saturated purple and blue sea. Hovering above the horizon is a massive, tightly packed formation of scalloped, multi-colored psychedelic clouds rendered in a rainbow gradient of yellows, oranges, pinks, and greens beneath a soft pink sky.

The piece is a hand-signed serigraph on paper, showing the deep color density and precise layering characteristic of Max's finest silk-screen productions. The work is hand-signed "MAX" in bold black ink across the lower right portion of the image and hand-numbered HC 68/100 in the lower left corner.
