A richly decorated Indian teakwood cabinet featuring extensive hand-inlaid mother-of-pearl decoration arranged in elaborate scrolling floral and foliate patterns. The rectangular cabinet is fitted with two paneled doors, each centered by a symmetrical floral medallion surrounded by flowering vines and leafy borders. Turned architectural columns flank the doors, while additional inlay extends across the molded upper section, apron, feet, sides, and top.

The doors open to reveal interior shelving and additional removable or hinged decorative panels, themselves embellished with dense floral inlay. Dark turned knobs complete the exterior. The flowing botanical ornament is characteristic of Indian decorative inlay traditions; comparable contemporary Indian furniture uses hand-cut mother-of-pearl set into teak or other wood structures to create floral and vine motifs.
