This romantic figurative composition depicts a young woman in profile seated beside a vase of white flowers within a classical architectural setting, executed in Maimon’s signature warm palette and impressionistic style. Pencil signed lower right and numbered 99/195 lower left. The verso retains the original publisher’s label identifying the work as “Danae” by Isaac Akim, a known alternate rendering of the artist’s name.
