Framed calendar print after Harrison Fisher (American, 1875–1934) depicting an elegant woman in a wide-brimmed hat rendered in soft pastel tones. Fisher was one of the most celebrated illustrators of the early 20th century and became widely known for his depictions of the “American Girl,” frequently published in magazines and calendars of the period. This example includes a calendar panel for January 1910 mounted beneath the illustration, indicating it was originally produced as a decorative calendar image.
