A refined pair of carved jade scepters, or ruyi, presented on fitted hardwood stands. These elegant objects are deeply rooted in Chinese tradition, symbolizing authority, prosperity, and the granting of wishes.

Each scepter is carved from pale celadon jade with soft translucency and subtle variations in tone. The gently curved form terminates in a stylized head, characteristic of traditional ruyi design. The surfaces are adorned with delicate relief carvings, including medallions and auspicious motifs, executed with precision and restraint.

The jade shows natural inclusions and faint areas of color variation, enhancing its organic beauty and authenticity. The smooth polish highlights the stone’s luster and craftsmanship.

Both pieces are mounted on carved hardwood stands, which elevate and support the scepters for display. The contrast between the pale jade and the darker wood adds visual balance and refinement.

These objects were historically associated with scholars and nobility, often given as symbolic gifts representing good fortune and fulfillment of desires.

Dimensions: 7x13x3
