A beautifully executed pair of jade sculptures depicting koi fish swimming among lotus leaves, a traditional motif rich in symbolism within Chinese culture. Representing prosperity, perseverance, and harmony, these pieces combine naturalistic carving with refined artistic composition.

Each sculpture is carved from pale celadon jade with areas of deeper green inclusion, skillfully incorporated into the design to highlight the lotus leaves and foliage. The koi fish are rendered with fine attention to scale texture and movement, appearing to emerge from stylized waves at the base.

The surrounding lotus plants are intricately carved, with layered leaves and stems creating depth and a sense of natural growth. Openwork elements add visual lightness and demonstrate the craftsmanship involved in shaping the stone.

The sculptures are mounted on fitted hardwood bases with carved detailing, providing contrast and enhancing their presentation.

These pieces are both decorative and symbolic, ideal for collectors of Asian art or as elegant accents in a refined interior.
