Vintage Indian Kashmiri brass and lacquered papier-mâché Kashkul beggar’s bowl in a traditional boat-shaped form associated with Sufi mystics and dervishes. The exterior is decorated with hand-painted floral motifs and gilt accents in the classic Kashmiri style, raised on a small pedestal foot with pointed finial ends.
