• Obverse: A winged Gorgoneion (Medusa) positioned at the center of an aegis, the scaled protective shield of Athena or Zeus.

• Reverse: Nike (Victory) advancing right, draped and carrying a palm branch over her shoulder with both hands. The Greek legend AMI-ΣOY is divided across the fields.

• Historical Significance: Mithradates VI, the "Poison King," used this specific coinage to project divine protection (the Gorgon) and military inevitability (Nike) throughout the Black Sea region during his campaigns against the Roman Republic.
