This dynamic and elegant patinated bronze sculpture, executed after the iconic Art Deco designs of master sculptor Bruno Zach, depicts a lithe female dancer frozen mid-leap. Capturing the exuberant, liberated spirit of the 1920s jazz age, the figure is rendered with outspread arms, an arched back, and a bent leg to create an exceptional sense of weightless motion. The surface features a rich, dark brown patination that beautifully catches the light across the flowing drapery of her short dress. The bronze sculpture is mounted atop a decorative, multi-tiered turned columns plinth made of highly figured, variegated reddish-pink marble with white veining.

The lower rim of the bronze mound is cleanly incised with the artist's signature moniker "B. Zach". It features an embedded circular foundry mark reading "Bronze Garanti Paris J.B. Deposee" on the reverse portion of the base.
