Description

This is a rare and highly collectible limited edition lithograph featuring the iconic 1936 Cord Sedan, one of the most celebrated automotive designs of the 20th century. This piece is a must-have for enthusiasts of the Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg (ACD) legacy and Art Deco industrial design.

The artwork showcases a side-profile illustration of the black Cord Sedan set against a backdrop of the legendary Cord, Duesenberg, and Auburn factory service bays. Adding significant historical value, the print includes technical patent drawings in the lower-right corner, referencing the December 3, 1935, filing with the United States Patent Office.

Key Features:

  • Authenticity: Hand-signed in pencil by the legendary designer himself, Gordon M. Buehrig.

  • Exclusivity: Numbered 370/1000, part of the "Living Legends" series produced by Garnette Group Inc. in 1974.

  • Provenance: Features a raised "Living Legends" blind stamp (embossment) and printer credits for General Color Graphics, Inc., Fort Wayne, Indiana.

  • Presentation: Professionally matted in a dual-tone blue and grey frame with a sleek metallic finish.

  • Dimensions: Approximately 17 inches (H) x 20 inches (L).

The piece is in excellent vintage condition, preserved under glass, and serves as a sophisticated tribute to the "Coffin Nose" Cord and the man who shaped American automotive luxury.
