A vintage sepia-toned silver gelatin publicity photograph of Marilyn Monroe from the 1957 Warner Bros. production "The Prince and the Showgirl." The scene depicts Monroe as Elsie Marina, elegantly seated on a tufted sofa and holding a champagne coupe, with co-star Richard Wattis visible in the background. The interior set is richly detailed with period furniture and statuary. The lower left corner features a hand-etched or stamped studio negative code. The reverse shows a small area of surface skinning and adhesive residue from previous archival handling.
