Description Original limited edition color serigraph print titled Medusa del Tropico (Tropical Medusa) by renowned Dominican master artist Candido Bido (1936-2011), created in 1986. Bido was the first painter from the Dominican Republic to exhibit in France, and his work is honored at the Galeria de Arte Candido Bido in Bonao. The stylized composition depicts a central figure with colorful tropical birds interwoven through her dark hair, wearing a leafy collar set against an orange horizon and vivid blue sky. Pencil signed and dated lower right "Bido - 86", titled lower center, and numbered "47/200" lower left. Housed under glass in a dark wooden frame with an inner silver accent lip and matting.
