This expressive work features a vibrant green parrot perched atop a vertical stack of framed vignettes, set against a moody, atmospheric background of deep browns and earthy ochres with vertical drip techniques. The composition is grounded by a birdcage at the base and cursive script across the bottom margin. The reverse of the canvas is inscribed with the title, artist's name, medium, location (Higüey, R.D.), and a date of August 23, 1979.
