This pair of monumental Steuben crystal candlesticks features a tall, tapered baluster form decorated with a delicate copper-wheel engraved floral and foliate vine motif. The engraving is characteristic of the "Carder Era" and early mid-century Steuben production, exhibiting the high level of detail and craftsmanship associated with the Corning, New York glassworks. Each piece is constructed with a wide, flared bobeche rim and a substantial circular foot adorned with a matching laurel or floral border. A faint, hand-engraved "5018" mark is visible on the base of at least one candlestick, likely a pattern or shape number. The crystal possesses the exceptional clarity and weight indicative of Steuben’s specialized glass formula.
