This demitasse cup and saucer set was produced in Japan during the Occupied Japan period, dating to the late 1940s to early 1950s. The set features a vivid green glazed ground decorated with a hand-applied floral motif in soft pink, white, and yellow tones, accented by delicate detailing around the cup body. The interior is finished in white, providing contrast to the exterior color. The underside is marked Made in Occupied Japan, confirming period production. This charming set reflects postwar Japanese export porcelain made for the American market and is well suited for collectors of Occupied Japan ceramics or decorative vintage china.
