This vintage gray graniteware covered baking dish features a speckled enamel finish with a domed lid and a metal handle. Likely dating back to the late 19th or early 20th century, this piece was commonly used for roasting and baking in rural kitchens. The enamel coating helped prevent rust, while the lightweight construction made it a popular alternative to cast iron.
