Set against a white porcelain ground, each vase features an oval central medallion enclosed within black and heavy gilt foliate framing. The hand-painted medallions depict classical mythological and pastoral scenes, including figures with a lyre and seated classical subjects. Flanking the body are celadon-glazed satyr/faun mask handles holding gilt ring handles. The urns feature gilded rim bands and rest on circular footed bases with gilt borders.
