This pair of wall-mounted sconces is designed in the Neoclassical Empire style, featuring a central fluted obelisk-form backplate accented with crossed ribbon motifs and acanthus leaf finials. Each sconce supports five scrolling arms terminating in floral-form bobeches and candle cups. The brass has a consistent aged patina, and the units are equipped with hanging chains.
