Pair of framed lithographs by noted Israeli folk artist Shalom Moskowitz of Safed, widely known as Shalom of Safed. The colorful compositions depict biblical and Judaic themes rendered in the artist’s distinctive naïve folk art style with stylized figures, architectural imagery, and symbolic storytelling. One work portrays Jacob’s Ladder ascending heavenward, while the other depicts the Tower of Babel. Both are presented under glass with complementary brown matting and retain descriptive labels verso discussing the artist and subject matter.
