Pair of ceramic figural compotes by Freeman McFarlin, each modeled as a winged cherub supporting a shell-form bowl overhead. Executed in cream-colored glaze with applied textured accents in muted pink and brown tones, the figures stand upon naturalistic bases decorated with shells and foliage. The underside bears the impressed Freeman McFarlin mark. An attractive pair of mid-century California art pottery decorative pieces.
