This impressive pair of monumental urns on matching pedestals features pieced tortoise shell with rich gilt-bronze (ormolu) mounts. The urns feature winged maiden-form handles, floral garlands around the neck, and acanthus leaf trim. Each urn rests atop a heavy square marble pedestal adorned with ornate gilt-bronze corner scroll mounts, floral appliques, and stepped bases.
