This pair of antique hurricane lamps was produced by the Pairpoint Corporation of New Bedford, Massachusetts. The "Ambero" line features frosted glass shades with a reverse-painted landscape, here depicting a line of birch trees in soft green and earth tones against a warm, yellow-tinted ground. Each shade is supported by a slender, dark-finished metal pedestal base with a flared circular foot.
