An exceptionally elaborate pair of Dresden porcelain covered vases, richly adorned with sculptural figural elements, applied floral encrustation, and finely painted scenes in the tradition of 19th century European decorative arts. Each vase is executed in a classical baluster form, rising from a shaped base and culminating in an ornate lid surmounted by a figural finial.
