A dramatic bronze sculpture depicting a large alligator with its jaws open beneath a tall, arching palm tree. The alligator is modeled with detailed scales, armored back, articulated claws, and individually rendered teeth, finished in a rich emerald-green patina with darker accents.
The tropical composition is completed by a brown palm trunk with deep green fronds and a stylized marsh-like ground. Mounted on a substantial black-and-white marble base, the sculpture has a bold decorative presence.
