Executed circa 1925, the romantic composition set against a solid black background features Cupid offering a glass of port wine to a stylized man and woman leaning in to share a drink. Printed by Etablissements Vercasson in Paris, the work bears the artist's printed signature in red alongside printer margin marks and lower text reading Porto Ramos Pinto Adriano Ramos Pinto and Irmao Lda Porto.
