This iconic Pop Art piece, titled "New York State Theater, Lincoln Center," was designed by the world-renowned artist Robert Indiana in 1964. It holds significant historical and artistic value as the second poster in the Lincoln Center's ongoing poster program.

Description for Auction
This limited edition serigraph features Indiana's signature bold, graphic style and iconic typography. The design is dominated by a central geometric sun-like or wheel motif in yellow against a deep maroon background, framed by stylized lettering. The text "NEW YORK STATE THEATER," "LINCOLN CENTER," and the date "23 APR 64" are integrated into the composition using a series of circular stencils.
The poster was originally donated to the Lincoln Center and serves as a prime example of mid-century graphic art.
