This limited edition serigraph features Indiana's signature bold, graphic style and iconic typography. The design is dominated by a central geometric sun-like or wheel motif in yellow against a deep maroon background, framed by stylized lettering. The text "NEW YORK STATE THEATER," "LINCOLN CENTER," and the date "23 APR 64" are integrated into the composition using a series of circular stencils.
The poster was originally donated to the Lincoln Center and serves as a prime example of mid-century graphic art.
