This comprehensive archive includes three authenticated lots formerly sold via Gotta Have Rock and Roll auctions, now offered as a single, significant collection of Hollywood memorabilia:
Lot #488: "My Written Work" Report Cover: A vibrant, oversized title page featuring De Niro's name in bold, colorful block lettering. The construction paper cover includes the classroom notations "6-2" and "416," serving as a definitive example of his early signature style.
Lot #354: Hand-Colored North America Map: A McKinley's Desk Outline Map (No. 85a) hand-colored by De Niro. The piece features his handwritten geographic labels in blue ballpoint pen—including "Arctic Ocean," "Hudson Bay," and "Pacific"—and is signed "Robert De Niro" in the upper right corner.
Lot #353: "The Caterpillar" Report and Original Sketches: A multi-page lot featuring a handwritten science report on lined paper, a separate page containing the handwritten quote "Not garrulous, like the rivers," and two original pencil sketches. The most notable drawing is a whimsical, satirical portrait of a face with sunglasses and a mustache.
The collection is meticulously preserved in archival sleeves and provides a unique provenance link between the actor’s early education and his eventual status as a cinematic icon.
